Minor Issues With Harmonic.

    I switched to Harmonic last week, and I have to say that thus far, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the theme. It’s a wonderful theme for sites that combine a heavy emphasis on graphics with longform writing.

    I’ve encountered 2 minor issues, though neither significantly affects the usage of the site. The first occurs when I select the tablet or iphone previews under the Customize option. The site menu appears only as a white box, although the menu works when I click on that area. The issue appears in both Safari and Firefox.

    This only occurs in the preview mode. The menu appears and functions properly on an iPad and iPhone when the site is viewed directly.

    The second issue I encountered, also minor and probably related more to our network at work than a flaw in the theme, is that the title image failed to load on a PC running the latest version of Internet Explorer. The page, widgets, and portfolio images loaded properly, but the title slide merely displayed white text on a black background. We have a fast connection, but the computers are networked and it’s likely that the issue was merely due to lag.

    This is likely an issue with something at work, but I thought I’d mention it here.

    I’ve tested it in Firefox and Safari on an iMac 27″ running 10.9 and 10.10, an iMac 17″ and a Macbook 13″ running 10.6, and an iPad Air and an iPhone, both running IOS7. All loaded and rendered the pages properly. The vanishing menu in the preview appeared on the 3 Macs in both Firefox (32) and Safari (8.0).

    Thank you for the gorgeous theme. It works wonderfully on a variety of screen sizes and offers a remarkable degree of flexibility and readability.

    I see what you mean and have let our developers know so they can investigate the Customizer issue.

    I looked at your site’s homepage on these combinations, and the first background image displayed OK on both:

    IE 10 – Windows 7
    IE 11 desktop – Windows 8.1

    Could you please let me know some details of the system where you saw the missing image:

    – operating system (i.e. Windows 7)
    – version of IE (i.e. 9, 10, 11)

    We’re running IE 11 on Windows 7 at my college. I got things to load today, albeit sluggishly, so the issue is probably due to the nature of the networking on our end.
