Minor problem with a theme.

  So i have came across the theme “Pique” it goes really well with how i want my website to look but the image on top of the page dont fully appear and on both side of the image there are dark emptiness.. i am new at this so can anyone tell me how to solve the problem please ?

  Hi there, Pique does have a dark overlay on its images. Have you consulted the theme’s showcase page to best learn how to set it up? https://wordpress.com/theme/pique

  At the bottom of that page in the Quick Specs it says:

  3. The recommended Featured Image size is at least 1400 by 1000. The theme will scale and crop the images depending on the page and device size.
  4. The recommended Custom Header image size is at least 1400 by 400.

  On my PC monitor (1280×1024) – I’m seeing about 95% of the width of this image wordpress.jpeg which is 1128 pixels wide
