Mis-registered a member of our staff with their own blog

  • Unknown's avatar

I invited several new members of our staff to sign up to be authors on our company blog and when the received the email to register, they accidentally clicked on the first item which said: “Sign up for a WordPress.comaccount”, instead of the second item, “Accept Invitation”. How can I undo the account they set up for their own WordPress account?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Marina,

I’m not quite sure what you mean because Authors will have to have their own WordPress.com accounts to be an Author on your site. You can try resending the invitation if there are any issues by going to Users > Invite new in your Dashboard.

    Cheers!

You did not answer my question and when I hit reply in the blue tab below, I don’t see where I can respond to you on the WP Support Site. Is it possible to email me directly or call my number below?
