Mis-typed "primary" e-mail address during creation of account
-
I mis-typed (by one letter) the e-mail address when creating the account.
Now, I’m stuck as I’m expected to go and confirm the account via the e-mail sent to this non-existing address.
Is-it possible to get the “primary” e-mail address corrected?

Yes. Please type the correct email address here knowing the software will redact ie. HIDE it so only Staff can see it. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
It looks like you were able to change the email address! Sorry for the late reply!

Thanks,
Every account creation and confirmation protocol is sufficiently different to be confusing when trying to resolve issues.
One suggestion – With the email address being so critical for a smooth account creation and confirmation process, would it make sense that the user has to enter it twice? The probability of the email address being mis-typed twice the same way is small. Such an approach would greatly help most cases.
On the other hand, I have also learned in the process what to do if ever my email provider disappears from the web.
