Misplaced Comments

Periodically WP seems to go through a phase where my replies to comments on my blog show up as comments whereas replies to comments I’ve made do not. As I have a WP app on my iPhone that chings with comments, this is annoying and irritating. Can anything be done about it on my end? Or do I have to just ride this out until the next time it stops?
