Missed call from WordPress support

    Hello,

    I received a call from WordPress support about my website. The speaker was (I believe) calling from India and due to the bad connection, I was told that I would be contacted again within 10 minutes which was over 2 hours ago. I am kinda freaking out that something that boulder is happening to my website as I distantly heard a vague explanation about my URL? As it was a blocked number I am unable to call back – how do I go about reaching out again? Or is this a scam?

    Hi there,

    While we do occasionally contact users regarding upcoming domain expirations, that would not apply to you as you have a newly purchased domain, and not one that is in danger of expiring.

    You can confirm this by going to the Store>My Upgrades page, where you can see all upgrades active on your account.

    I would not worry, your site (somewheresomewear.com) is safely hosted with us, and this sounds like a scam for sure. Please don’t respond to that call.
