    Hi there!
My posts once scheduled do not go live.
    May I know why please.
I’ve tried changing time zone. I’ve cleared WordPress cache. I’ve used incognito mode.
    Still it doesn’t get published.
It says ‘ missed schedule ‘

I’ve contacted my hosting provider and still no one has figured it out. This has been going on for 2 weeks now.

    Kindly help me out
This issue messes up with my schedule as I end up publishing manually which is something I cannot do every day.
    Please help
    Thanks.

  • Hi there,

Your site isn’t hosted here on WordPress.com, but was built using the open source software made over on WordPress.org. So we don’t have any control over your site.

That said, this might be normal – the way scheduled posts work in WordPress, it needs to be triggered by an event on a site, like a visitor loading the site in their browser. So if you schedule a post at a time when your site doesn’t naturally have a lot of traffic, there might be some delay, as the post will only actually publish the first time someone views your site after the scheduled time.

(This means in most cases you should be able to trigger the post yourself by just viewing your site in an incognito browser session around that time.)

If the scheduled posting is actually failing, that’s an issue with your WordPress installation. In that case, please ask the WordPress.org community, who makes the version of WordPress you’re using, for advice in their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
