missing a way to change time zone

  The support page does not match the settings page on my blog, and I cannot find where to change the time zone which I guess is set be default to UTC.
  As a result, the date used in the post address does not match the local date in the time zone at which the post was published.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Provided you are logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog, you will be able to navigate to the required page and change your timezone.

  The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General. There you select the closest city to you in the same timezone in the drop-down menu and then click “save changes”.

  If you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog then this is what you see here

  General Settings
  Site Title __________
  Tagline __________

  Timezone
  Choose a city in the same timezone as you.
  “save changes”

  Agree with galois. Same here. “new” look is missing even more features, such as date format, and there is no way to force the old format.

  And I never know what will show up – the new or the old editor for example.

  I don’t get it – why introduce a new interface design that adds nothing but removes key features and is chock full of bugs?

  Is somebody bores? Lacking ideas what to add?

  Hi all,

  As mentioned in this thread, you can change the timezone on your site from the Classic Dashboard under Settings -> General. We’re working on including this in the new interface!
