Missing Admin Bar

Missing Admin Bar:
I guess this is a sort of follow up to my yesterday issue with my Admin Bar showing the wrong blogs.
For that past hour my Admin bar has been disappearing and reappearing even though I’m logged in and working administratively.
The Admin Bar is back now in blog view but totally missing in WordPress.com/forums/ view.

I’ve tried the logging in and out and the cookie deletion tricks posted here in previous threads to solve the problem but it isn’t working.

Volunteers on the forum do not have backend access to blogs and cannot undertake technological “fixes” like this one. Such fixes can only be undertaken by staff. The recommendation of our forum Moderator drmike is to ask all bloggers in this position to send in feedbacks to admin.

UPDATE:
Mark said they’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
I’m not going to worry about it because I can still get Admin stuff done without the bar.

UPDATE:
My Admin bar disappeared again.
It was here in the forum but not on my blog.
Then, 10 minutes later, it reappeared on my blog.

Is this still an open issue b/c I cannot see my admin bar at times still, but if I log onto someone else’s WP blog I can see it there – but not on ALL WP blogs. I can always see it on Firefox, though. So far I’ve just noticed it disappearing with IE.

Mishmish, I think you forgot to give an examle of what you’re seeing. I’m assuming that it’s of course just an oversight and you meant to, right? And what version of IE that you’re using of course.

Do note that all wordpress blogs are not wordpress.com blogs. There is a different. You’re only going to see that blue admin bar when you’re signed in and are looking at a blog hosted here at wordpress.com.

drmike – I’m using IE v 6.0.
An example of what I’m seeing? I’m not seeing anything…where the admin bar usually is on my site there is nothing – that’s all.
And…Ah, yes I see it on other WP.com sites, but not those WP sites hosted else, so that answers that question. But I still should be seeing the admin bar on my own site and I am not.

I meant give a link to some site(s) where you’re not seeing the admin bar.

No…I didn’t get it worked out! I cannot see the admin bar for WP on my own personal site.

http://mishmish.org ? Hmm, I see it fine using IE6.0.2900.2180.
Any security programs being run? What’s the security setting within the browser?

it’s set to medium…but why would it not be visible to me on my own site, but visible to me when I look at another wp.com site?

FWIW I also see the blue nav bar above the blog as expected using a firefox 2.0.0.3 browser. Can you still work on your blog by using http://mishmish.org/wp-admin

The admin bar is created with javascript. I’m wondering if it’s being blocked for some reason.

but why would i be able to see it on someone else’s blog and not my own…if it was being blocked wouldn’t it be missing from all wp blogs i read?
