Missing ‘Appearance’ Menu option

Hi there- I’m missing the ‘Appearance’ menu option on the left hand side and need to be able to upload a new W9 file and cannot find anywhere to edit the menu options for our site. Any help is appreciated!

This is the support forum for free sites hosted here at WordPress.com. What is the address of the site you need help with and what type of file do you want to upload? Are you looking at instructions only applicable to sites hosted elsewhere using the WordPress.org software?
