Missing: author

  I wrote comments before 7 months here ( https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/why-am-i-getting-this-error-missing-author-missing-updated-in-wordpress?replies=22 )

  And since that time , still l get the error message in webmaster google said : (( Missing: author )) in all my posts page and unfortunately not yet resolved.

  Today I look again in my theme and I found these line :

  <span class=”byline”> Written by <span class=”author vcard”>Yazeed</span></span>

  I replace byline with author and now its work ! but as I know I can’t change the HTML code in my editor theme to fix this bothering issue.

  Please, I need a help to resolve this issue.

  Ok , I solve it with CSS editor in my dashboard

  .byline {
      display: inherit;
  }
