missing black toolbar when reading blog/ cannot preview posts

Hi,
when I’m logged in to wordpress and I read my blog, no black toolbar appears at the top of the blog. It doesn’t matter whether I click through from the dashboard or type my blog address straight into the address bar. It’s as if I’m not logged in, but I definately am because when i go back to the dashboard I don’t need to sign in again.
Also, my blog stats are counting my own views (it tells me someone has clicked through from wordpress dashboard), again suggesting it doesn’t think I’m logged in when I view my blog.
Plus I can’t preview blog posts. I don’t know if that’s related.
I’ve tried clearing my cache, cookies, using a different browser, different computer (on the same network), nothing works.
Help would be really massively appreciated! Thanks.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you by any chance visiting WordPress.com from the UK? Many users from the UK have been experiencing issues similar to yours.

I am indeed. Maybe I just need to wait it out then. I’m new to wordpress though so I wondered if I was doing something wrong. Thanks for the reply.

I am now in the UK and have found the same problem – why would this only happen in the UK? Very irritating.

@sallyprosser: The reason it is happening only in the UK is because certain UK ISP’s are using blocking software that is incorrectly blocking entire WordPress.com servers. Keep an eye on the following thread for updates:
