Missing Blog Entries on Page 2

  Hello,

  I’m having trouble reading previous entered blog entries.

  The oldest entry on my top page is June 03, 2006.
  I hit the “Previous” link to view older entries, but “~/page/2” reads “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

  I have looked through all my settings but still cannot find a resolution.

  Any help would be great.

  This would be because the oldest post is showing on the first page.

  There’s nothing to display on the second page, hence the “error” message.

  What settings do you have for showing the number of blog posts per page?

  Thanks for the help Cornell,

  I just toyed around with the “Blog Pages > Show at Most” setting and found it was set to 20. I changed it to 80, and every single blog entry showed up on one page. Next I changed it to 10, clicked on the “previous” link, then got a “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.”

  I also verified I have “Front Page > Displays Latest Post” checked.

  Help!

  How many posts have you made on your blog?

  If you have made 9 posts and you set the display to 10 per page then you will only see posts on the first page.

  Try setting it to 1 and see what happens.

  Lets try this again. Browser crashed.

  I can get at your older July posts.

  Best bet would be to submit a feedback with a pointer to this thread to let staff know we’ve discussed it. Looks like a backend issue.

  Love that picture of boy george by the way. Wondering what’s up with the woman standing by the car though.

  Log into your blog. Upper right hand side of your backend will be a link that says feedback.

  You mean http://kimberly10.wordpress.com I think? You wouldn’t have a WordPress email unless you were staff.

  I will take a look at your blog; you might need to wait till staff can fix it, or it might be something simple. We can’t know until we get more specifics.

  Update: I see the Previous Entries link at the bottom of your page just where it should be. Your readers will find it a LOT easier to move around on your blog, though, if you put the Archive and Recent Posts widgets in the sidebar.
