Missing blog entry – I messed up the timestamp! Eeek!!
-
I wanted to try out the ” edit timestamp” and randomly selcted an entry, changed the timestamp to see if it’s pushed to the top of my blog, but it dissappeared, so I pressed back and messed with the timestamp again, again it just wouldn’t appear, so I went back again and saved it as ‘draft’ so it’s saved, but I cant seem to publish it back onto the blog.
I can always copy and paste it back somehow, but would prefer it back to how it was ..(it had comments too!)Cheers.

The most important thing is to set the timestamp to something in the past. Yesterday for example. When it’s set to a future time it will not reappear until then. I hope that works out.

Yeah when I realised what I’d done, I went back to change it to a past date, but even then it wouldnt show.

I set it to today’s date 3rd apr, when it was originally published 1st apr, the problem was I didnt check the time, and the original time was 2hrs ahead, when I pressed the back button I realised the error, but when i changed it to a sooner time, it still wouldn’t reappear on the blog.
I suppose I’ll copy/paste and re-publish the saved draft -

I did it, the timestamp works ;)
It pushed the entry to the top and saved the comments too.. woohoo!Just got a bit confusing for a bit though with it vanishing, but that was my own fault.
Thanks for the help deltafoxtrot!
