Missing Blog Post
-
I had a post that was published on 15th August, was shared to facebook and twitter, had views on the stats, and I even approved a comment on it, and now it’s gone. There’s an old, previous version in the drafts area but is is just a title and one line with no pctures but from the day before, but that wasn’t the final version that I posted with all the finalised text, pictures, and links. Can anyone tell me what happened? And more importantly, can I somehow restore the finalised, published post with all the stats on it???
If i google search it shows with the meta text i wrote, all the images are still searchable etc. I have tried to look at previous versions on the post but can’t though all the images are still in the media library etc
Here’s the link that got shared to Facebook and Twitter. If I click on that link from Facebook now, it tells me the page can’t be found.

(Please note I’m not tech support, but a longtime user of WordPress.org.) When I clicked on the link to the post, I saw a full post with pictures, links, text, etc. I suppose if all else fails, you can copy and reconstruct the post from that. You also appear to be using self-hosted WordPress–You can restore an earlier database from when it was working. I see you have Cloudflare–Does it cache your dashboard? Funny things happen when Cloudflare or other caching programs are allowed to cache the dashboard. I have Page Rules set up to disable performance for it. As noted, I’m not tech support, but these are things I would check into.
