missing blog posts

  I was trying to change the category of two posts that are under ‘Uncategorized’ . when I opened them for editing, there’s a red warning sign at the right part of the screen that says something like ‘cannot gethotcode null’. what should i do?

  Could you take a screenshot and paste it into a post on your site so we can see this?

  Does this only happen for posts that are “uncategorized” or all posts?

  Another idea – have you edited posts using the WP Admin dashboard before? Click the WP Admin link at the very bottom of your main menu on the left side (when in the WordPress.com editor).

  Then, navigate to Posts. Find one the posts whose category you want to change. Mouse over the title of the post and you will see some links appear beneath it, like this:

  Click “Quick Edit”. Now you can change the post’s category without opening the post in edit mode.
