Missing / Cancelled Blog

    HELP! I may have accidently redirected my current blog domain: greens4squares.com to an old dormant site – douwritenow. My current site also reads that the domain will be cancelled. I don’t understand why and really need to have my site restored!

    How do I regain access to my current blog site for continued postings. also I would like to delete the old douwritenow site so that this confusion will stop.

    You haven’t redirected you domain “greens4squares.com” to “douwritenow”. You have just managed to rename the site. There is nothing to worry about this for now.

    The site “greens4squares.wordpress.com.” has the domain upgrade and is mapped to the domain “greens4squares.com”. I think you may have another WordPress.com account (a different username) to login to this site. Use that login and please do renew the domain from here https://wordpress.com/my-domains. Once that domain is renewed, you should be good to go.

    Then switch back to this “douwritenow” account and you can delete the site by following the instructions from here https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ . Please do note that site once deleted cannot be recovered and all content will be deleted along with it.

    When will the domain be renewed? I just paid $26 with the link you sent?

    The domain has been renewed. http://who.is/whois/greens4squares.com.
    It shows that the domain is valid till 2016.
    I am able to see the content at greens4squares.com

    Just out of curiosity have you changed the name servers of the domain to point to a self hosted site hosted at bluehost?
