missing column

the column with my blog roll, rss feeds, map etc. is missing from my homepage. you can see it on other pages but not on the homepage. What happened? What do I need to do to fix it?

Please give us a link to your blog. Wild guess work is not you need. If people can see the problem, people usually give better advice.
However: Very often it is a picture that is too big. Big pictures need to be down sized before you insert them.

You are welcome to point out my mistakes so that I can learn, young Mr. orbvab. It is nice to hear that you penguins are interested in spelling. I would not have guessed from the look of your blogs…

my site link is vintageviolet.wordpress.com. I tried resizing most of the pictures. no luck. The problem started when I posted the 10 vintage movies article.

vintageviolet, edit this post: http://vintageviolet.wordpress.com/2008/03/08/my-top-10-favorite-vintage-movies/
switch to “code” and look for this sentence:Olivia Newton-John</a>’s dancing so much more.</div> <div class="snap_preview" align="left"><a href="http://vintageviolet.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/sandy.jpg" title="sandy">change it to:
Olivia Newton-John</a>’s dancing so much more.</div> <a href="http://vintageviolet.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/sandy.jpg" title="sandy">by deleting that open “div” tag.
Save and enjoy. -
