Missing comment box on pages

  The new pages I just created are missing comment boxes. All my posts and old pages have comment boxes.

  How do I enable comments on new pages?

  The Totebag 30-Day Challenge pages displayed on the header do not allow comments. How can I allow comments on those pages?
