Missing Comment Dialouge

    The comment option is not appearing no posts in my blog. I have turned on comments in the general discussion settings, under the bulk settings for all posts, and again for each individual posts. Yet there is still no comment box.

    Hi Jessica – the comments are there, but you have to click through to the individual post page before you can see the comment box. All themes are like this, because say you got 100 comments on a post. If they all loaded on the home page, it’d be difficult to read your blog.

    However, most themes have a link for ‘Leave a comment’ on the home page. Profile does not seem to have one. It looks like the theme authors have added the suggestion as a possible future enhancement.

    In the meantime, you might consider using the More tag to show post excerpts on your home page, which would encourage readers to click through to where the comment box is more apparent. You can see how this looks on the theme demo here:
