Missing content

Hi!
I am missing one particular plog post. I just wanted to check the exact date of an event I had last year. And I know I had blogged about it. But I can’t find it anywhere. I checked drafts, I filtered the search using the tags, the categories under which it was supposed to be. How can I get my post back? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
http://happymotherdiary.wordpress.com/The name of the post was “Baby shower” and it should be of September 2011.
Thank you!!!

You overwrote the post with a new title and new content on 14th February 2012. It’s now called “Happy St. Valentine’s Day!” and it’s in draft.
If you look the Revisions panel in the draft post and scroll down to the bottom, you can see old revisions with the old content which title was “Baby Shower”.
Hope it helps!

Hello!
Yes, I saw the “St. Valentine’s Day” in drafts instead of “Baby shower”. But the thing is I didn’t overwrite it. At least not intentionally. Is it possible to restore the original post? Because the “St. Valentine’s” exists on its own and it’s dated Feb 14 2012.Thank you!

You must have accidentally overwrote the post because the permalink of the draft is http://happymotherdiary.wordpress.com/2011/09/23/baby-shower.
There is still revision of the original post so you can retrive the content and publish a post with it. And then you can change the publishing date.
1. Go to edit the draft, “St. Valentine’s Day” and find “Revisions” panel. If you don’t see it immediately, Check if it’s checked in the “Screen Options” on the right top on the page.
2. Click the revision right before you overwrote the content (29 October, 2011 @ 15:28) and copy the content and paste it to a new post.
Optionally you can edit the permilink for the “St. Valentine’s Day” to something else in order to make the permalink of the restored post to be http://happymotherdiary.wordpress.com/2011/09/23/baby-shower
Hope it helps!
