Missing Customizations such as Header Image, Background, Menus
-
Hello. I have managed to get my header back to normal to my custom header design but I can’t seem to change the sidebar colours – it won’t let me. Please could you help. http://www.partyinateacup.co.uk Thank you.

I have managed to reinstate my header but I can’t change the menu. I have tried saving the main menu as well as making changes to it and saving it but nothing seems to work. The blog is http://www.orchardorigins.org

@peterson10 — Did the problem on your sites just start yesterday? I see the problems you mentioned, but it looks like an issue that’s unrelated to the problem from yesterday and we’ll need to investigate that further for you. I’m doing some more testing and will send you an email to follow up about about these sites.
@merce — That problem on your site was an unrelated issue, caused by stray HTML code in one of your blog posts. I fixed that for you using the troubleshooting tips on our HTML Troubleshooting page.
@partyinateacup — The sidebar colors and background image are active again on http://partyinateacup.co.uk/ . Please let me know if you have any more trouble with that!
@orchardorigins — Your main menu is now active on your site again. Please let me know if you notice any other issues there!

@rachelmcr thank you very much for your help
I supose that it was caused for an embed code of FacebookRegaras

Hello everyone,
I had all the problems listed in the first post, now everything seems to be returned normal except the custom background image. I tried to customize it many times, I can see the right image I chose in the preview menu, but when I open the blog that image doesn’t show, I can see only the default pic for my theme (itheme2).
My blog is hosted on wordpress.com http://rudeawakemetal.wordpress.com/
Please help, I’m a proud Wp user for eight years and it’s the first time I’m asking for help.Thank you in advance.

Dear Rachel
(love your job title btw – happiness engineer, how awesome is that?! :) )The following site has a changed and wrong appearance. I have tried to re-save the settings in the customizer , but it still appears wrong. As I have set this page up some time ago, I’m also not entirely sure of the settings anymore..
roothealthnetwork.wordpress.com or roothealth.com
It would be easier to send old vs. new/wrong appearance pictures, rather than explain in words. Is there a possibility?
Thank you!
Best Maru

@maruschkasaurer — This is actually a different issue on the site at http://roothealth.com/. That site had a Premium plan but the site’s owner let it expire, so the custom design features were disabled. You can purchase a new plan for the site to reactivate those features.
If you have any questions or concerns about that, please contact us separately so we can help with that. :)

My custom font is not displaying – it is set as Chaparral Pro, on gretchenjoanna.com, but it is showing as some clunky sansserif font. I tried going in and re-saving it, clearing cache, restarting….nothing is working. The title is displaying with Chaparral, but the main body is not.
-
When you say custom features are disabled when premium plans expire, do you mean the site is frozen with effects intact or that all customisations disappear?
-
-
@gretchenjoanna — Sorry for the trouble. That issue isn’t related to the problem addressed in this forum thread, so I’m sending you an email so we can work on that issue for you separately. Please let me know if you don’t receive that email from me.
@sjwsentinel — The Custom Design features included in the Premium plan are only visible on your site as long as the plan is active. If you let the plan expire, your customizations are saved (so you can restore them if you later renew the plan) but they won’t be visible on your site.

Hi
I have sorted my header out but the drop down list of categories on pages seems to have gone, although it looks the same when I look at the menu – my site is patientgardener.wordpress.comThanks
Helen

@patientgardener — Your site was showing the theme’s default menu, so I reactivated your custom menu again. You can manage that in the “Navigation” section of your site’s Customizer. :)

I’ve noticed that my custom header font selection of ‘Raleway’ seems to have gone, and my blog has gone back to the default font. Is that related?
Tried everything to try and get it back, but even in customizer it’s not making any difference when changing the header font.
