Missing data

  Hello,

  My friend helped me build a website using WordPress and Wpzoom plug ins. I let the domain host expire by accident and now can’t find any of the data! There is only two words on WordPress when my site megperrottcinematography.com had lots of videos and photos.

  I’m very confused. Does WordPress keep data?

  Since your site was not hosted with WordPress.com (it is a site using the open-source WordPress software, from WordPress.org, but hosted with with another company), you’ll want to reach out directly to your host about it or write on the community forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
