Missing domain

I purchased a domain name http://www.lithium.energy through WordPress in 2024.
It is due to expire on 10/12/26.
To my surprise, someone, probably a WordPRess staff member, has carefully stolen that domain name and replaced it with www. greenlithium.wordpress.
This is very shameful. Perhaps being given bribe money by large corporations too carry out this vile work.
Please may you rectify this

As you mentioned, the expiry date is 10/12/26, which means about 11 months remain, so the domain should still be valid. Please check your domain purchase receipt to confirm it has not already expired.
Also, when you create a website on WordPress.org, it is initially given a subdomain (for example, greenlithium.wordpress.com). When you add or configure a new domain, the subdomain is automatically replaced.
Therefore, WordPress staff should not be blamed if your previous paid domain expired and your site reverted to the subdomain. To recover an expired domain, please follow the guidelines below.

There’s absolutely no need to spin some silly story and then accuse people of theft and corruption without any evidence whatsoever.
If you knew anything about domain registrations and domain transfers, you’d know that a domain transfer can only be initiated by the current domain owner. Moreover, the domain owner must confirm the transfer several times.
You created the wordpress.com subdomain greenlithium.wordpress.com when you set up the account victorchid77 in January 2024. However you never launched that site.
Regarding the so called stolen or missing domain lithium.energy, according to https://completedns.com/dns-history/, that domain was initially registered back in 2015 and it has never been registered over here through wordpress.com.
I advice you to take a look in your purchases at https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/ to check your billing history to see what domain you exactly bought but it certainly wasn’t lithium.energy
