Missing editing buttons?
-
When I edit a new post in one of my blogs (Cutline theme), there are two rows of editing commands.
When I edit in my second blog (Contempt theme), there is only one row. I’m missing things like “text colors” and “paste from Word.” Is this because the Contempt theme does not support those tools, or is there a way to get those buttons back?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Without a link to the blog you are asking about, and assuming it is a WordPress.com blog,
this is a stab in the dark,
but have you tried clicking on the “kitchen sink” icon.
It’s the icon on the far right of the row, sort of looks like a box of watercolors or a rectangle with little dots in it?

I am having the same problem but can’t seem to find my “kitchen sink” icon…
can you give me a few more details on how to find it…
-
thank you.. but I don’t even have a first row of edit buttons…I only have 4 icons for adding media… but none of the edit buttons that I used to have…I was wondering why they are gone and how I can get them back!!!

Go to users > your profile and make sure that “Disable the visual editor when writing” is NOT selected. If it is, deselect it and click “update profile.”

thank you but still, that doesn’t seem to be the problem… the “disable the visual….” is NOT selected.. and I still just have the 5 media icons…..

somehow, the editting has come back, even though I didn’t do anything… but I tried all your suggestions first…. with no success…
seems to be fine now. thanks for your help!!!
