Missing email option in upgrades menu

    I’m trying to setup email forwarding for my website and the instructions say to click on the email option that appears in the drop-down of the upgrades section, but there is no email option appearing in my dashboard.

    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

    Hi there:

    To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

    Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    The instructions you’re looking at I assume are the ones we have here for websites hosted with us: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/email-forwarding/

    Since your site is not hosted here, you need to contact your host for help in setting up an email address and forwarding. It looks like your site is being set up with Bluehost, so you can contact them here:
