Missing embedded map
-
I’m trying to embed a map that I created using ArcGIS into a blog post. I copy the code for embedding the map from the ArcGIS website, and I paste it into the HTML side of the post editor. The map displays beautifully in the post editor, but if I preview or post the blog post, the map only displays as a link to the map. It appears that whenever the post saves, it automatically adjusts the code, but it does not affect the display of the map in the editor view. I have tried changing the embedded map settings (size, responsive size, basic/enhanced map) on ArcGIS, and I tried adjusting the settings on WordPress, including switching to a new theme. I do not have a Business Pro account, so I cannot add any plug-ins that would allow this map to display. Is there any way (besides paying $25 a month) that would allow me to embed this map into a blog post? I had no idea it would be this difficult to do something so simple!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi There-
If you’re using a WordPress.com hosted site, you won’t be able to embed using Javascript or iFrame codes for security reasons.
Here is some more information embeds:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascriptTo be able to do embeds, you need to have a self-hosted site. Here are the differences:
