Missing features
-
Hi
I have 2 blogs on the Edin Theme, but they look completely different. I love the one, and am really struggling with the other.
The one (newer one) has the text wigets on the front page, has the contacts bit at the bottom, and allows me to set large feature images taking up almost a whole page – this is great.
The second blog (the older one) doesn’t have the option of wigets appearing on the front page, and displays my feature image as a thin sliver. The title ‘home’ also appears across the featured image which doesn’t happen on the first blog. How can I reset this second blog to “factory standard” as it were, so that all the features that I get on the first, newer blog are on the second one too? Are these new features that weren’t available perhaps when I started this older blog that were added later? How can I get them for this blog?
Thanks for your help in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Volunteers cannot view private blogs and we Volunteers do not request access to them. Therefore, I do not know which theme you have and what you have done. Staff can view private blog content and if you need their help type modlook into the tags in the sidebar of this thread for their assistance. Then be patient while waiting for a response and subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Hi @julieannmary, you’ll need to create a home page with the proper template, then make it the front page of the site. Edin’s setup documents have a how-to. Scroll down to “Get Started” and you’ll be in business:
