Your followers are not gone. This is part of the issue our developers are trying to fix. We’ll update you here when we hear back from them.

I was answering your previous question and since it happened at the same time I just wanted to let you know -
yesterday evening I tried to repost one of my articles to see if it showed on the reader, and it didn’t. Is that normal?
What do you mean you reposted it? Have you changed the post to draft and then published it again?

Actually, I planned it for a future date, saved so that it was in my “planned articles” and then picked ‘post now’ and saved.

I just tried your method of changing the post to draft and publish it again, it’s not showing in the reader either (we can only see the first time I published it yesterday)

It’s me again, have you heard back from the developers?
The thing is that I hired a designer to help me makeover my blog and I wanted to let her know if she still could work on designs that include my blogs name or if I would have to change my name or start over.
Honestly, I would be willing to start over, but I really wish to keep my blog’s name and address because that change has been made after weeks of brainstorming and it would pain me to have done it all for nothing.
Can you update me please?

You’re totally free to keep working on your site.
Again, the only problem we need to fix is that _you_ cannot see the list of subscribers, but the subscribers are subscribed properly.

Well, yes, of course, there is that.
But also the fact that my articles can no longer be liked from the reader by my followers / don’t always appear correctly on the reader (at least not as efficiently as they used to).
I know I can continue to work on my site, but I don’t know when the problems will be solved, if ever, and I don’t want to waste my time if I have to start over a new website in the end.

Starting a new site won’t change any of that, so I recommend continuing to build it out as desired while we wait for our developers to address this.

For instance, an article I posted almost 30 minutes ago is not visible on the reader (https://wordpress.com/read or https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/102880072). I have 0 visibility and even if my article is posted at one point: 1. It’s going to be posted retroactively so many will miss it and 2. it will not be possible to like it anyway.
It’s not very encouraging to continue building this blog.
And I don’t see why I would have the same problems if I start a new blog from scratch

Yes, I can confirm that I also see the missing likes in the Reader. I followed your site and do not see the option for likes:
I have reported this issue as well and we will report back once we have heard from our developers.

Regarding the missing likes feature, we have received alerts from your account of potential spamming of the like button. There is a certain threshold of likes that a user can make before we are alerted for non-human like activity – and that threshold is pretty high, so it’s unlikely that a human is engaging normally with the posts that they are liking.
So, if you have had any history of spam liking, this may have something to do with the like issue you are currently encountering. We are still looking into this issue, but I want to give you a heads up regarding this threshold for future notice.

Thank you so much for acknowledging my “like” problem and for all the information that you have given me.
Indeed, I ‘like’ almost all the articles of the people I follow.
However, I read them all and I connect on my reader several times a day, so I don’t know if liking those articles is considered as spamming since I take the time to read them in between the likes. In my opinion, it’s a way to show my support. I know almost all the people I follow and have engaged with them at one point.Also, as all my other problems, it seems related to the fact that I changed my blog’s name since all of them happened on the following day.
However, if it’s related with ‘like spamming’ how long before it comes back to normal? Will it ever come back to normal?
Last, have you researched the fact that my articles are not posted on the reader right away? The article that I posted at 5 PM appeared while I was asleep, somewhere between 2AM and 6AM. Is it related to the same issue?

You don’t have to worry about the spam likes right now, the only thing this would cause would be to block you from liking posts for a period of time but it wouldn’t prevent others from liking your posts.
All the information we gathered till now seems to indicate that the disappearance of likes is related to the already-reported Reader issue, and I’m afraid that there isn’t anything we can do about it at this time :(
