Missing followers

  • Thanks. This issue is hard to pin down, as you can see, so it might be a bit before we have a solution. In the meantime, you might try inviting one of those individuals to unsubscribe and resubscribe to see if that helps.

    Thank you for the advice, unfortunately, it’s not doing anything new if they unsubscribe and resubscribe.

    However, every time someone resubscribes to my blog, the number is added to this one, even if they were following me in the first place. Meaning if they resubscribe 5 times, it will add 5 new subscribers to the number on the top-right corner of the following page even if it is only one person:

    I’m sorry I meant ‘persisting’! The glitches are persisting.

    I confused with my mother tong where ‘subsiding’ means ‘continuing to exist’

    Hello!
    It seems that the issue with my blog hasn’t been resolved yet.
    I don’t know if you remember but I bought a design right before my bug started (like 2 days before) and therefore I haven’t used it yet because of the problems.
    I would like a refund on that design, and I might buy it back if my blog starts working again.
    I’m more and more considering deleting my blog and maybe starting a new one, so I’d like my money back so that I could buy the design when I’ll need it.

    I realise this is frustrating, but as we’ve explained in this thread, your followers are not missing – they’re all still subscribed to your site and seeing your posts in their Reader feeds. They’re just not visible to you on the admin side.

    And the like issue is also restricted to only the WordPress.com Reader. Your site itself works as it should, and these issues should not in any way affect your ability to make changes to or publish new content on your site, nor the ability of other people to read your posts or comment on them.

    Regarding your theme, I’ve gone ahead and refunded it, as you won’t be able to use it any more in any case at this point: Since you bought Rosalie, that theme has been retired.

    If you currently had the theme active on your site, you would have been able to continue using it indefinitely. But once a premium theme is retired it cannot be activated any more on any site, even if you’ve already paid for it, and if you have it active and switch to a different theme, you cannot switch back. This also means you won’t be able to purchase this theme again, even for a new site.
