Thanks Houstonweaver,
but do you call this a
- shortcut
?
I simply need to insert a Phi character into text lines, by a standard Symbol Font.
Furthermore I never use Word, to make websites or other, and won’t learn how Latex works.
Do I have to take a new specialization for such detail?

Hi there,
To insert a Phi character, press the “Alt” key and type 1000 using the number keypad at the right side of your keyboard.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Uh, that would be great, Kruttikaphalke!
but unfortunately, it gets only the right half of the Phi symbol.
And evenly I need the lower phi
– may I know which extended table did you refer to? -

Hi there,
You can search in google for “html-codes-greek-characters” so that you can use that html code in your html post editor and you can get your require symbol to display.
Thanks.

If you just want Phi it should be among the list of special characters. (second line when using the wp-admin/ visual post editor). Or are you using the new Block editor? To find “insert symbols” etc when working in the Block editor you can reach them via a “+” button, then “Formatting” and then “classic”.

Good Kruttikaphalke,
your idea was successful.I could check it’s enough to insert in the code: Φ / φ
thx
