missing gallery optioins

  i have uploaded several images and would like to create a gallery on a previously created by empty page, but gallery option is not appearing on add/media box when i click the upload/insert media button.

  In order to create a Gallery, the images should be uploaded to the page or post where you want them to appear.

  It is possible to create a Gallery from images already in the Media Library, but you will have to do it manually by creating the shortcode in the Text Editor tab and using includes.

  How many image are you talking about?
