missing hyperlinks

This always worked until two weeks ago. I copy in text from Word that has links in it, like this:
When Trayvon Martin was killed in Florida, by a member of the local neighborhood watch, the opinion and editorial pages had a lot to say.
Trayvon Martin had a link on it, but when I copy it into my blog, the link is gone. This has worked for years. I’m not doing anything differently.

Word processors, like Word, contain tons of proprietary information that we cannot guarantee will be translated when copying and pasting.
