Hi Nick,
Are you speaking of https://nickambrose.org/2019/12/18/a-visit-to-blakenham-woodland-garden/, for example?
The images in that post were never uploaded to your site’s media library, but were instead hotlinked from another website, https://media.photoblog.com/. And it appears the photos are no longer available on that site. Here’s the direct links for some of the images you embedded in that post, and you’ll see none of them are loading:
It looks like the domain, https://photoblog.com/, itself is also offline, so I’m guessing the service where you used to host those images has shut down. This is unfortunately the risk when using hotlinking to insert images – the images will only display for as long as they continue to exist on the service where the actual files are hosted.
If you still have those images on your computer, you can edit the posts and re-insert them, this time uploading them to the media library directly. But as those images were never uploaded to the library to start with, we don’t have any backup copies of them in our system.

Thanks Kokkieh,
I hadn’t realised that I’d linked them from another site.
Thanks for your help. I’ll have to go back and reinsert the images from my computer
Regards,
Nick
