Missing Images After Importing From WordPress XML

    I previously hosted my wordpress blog with a third party hosting company. I moved it to Tumblr, which I don’t care for and I have decided to move it here and I imported my XML file from the original wordpress site. I received the email saying everything imported correctly but none of the images imported. There are broken placeholders for them and when I look in the media library all the image title, article it’s attached to etc. is there but it says “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.”

    Please tell me I don’t have to re-upload and re-attach all the images. Is there any way to fix this?
