Missing images from imported xanga blog

Up until recently, all the images that were on my xanga blog appeared on my wordpress one that I imported it into. Now, the images are no longer there. Where did the images go? How can I get them back? Thanks.

. I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. Is your Xanga site still online? What is the URL please, if it is.

Please note, you may receive multiple export files from Xanga. You will need to import all of the files for all content to be moved to WordPress.com.
We have additional instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/

I imported all the files I received from Xanga and the content moved successfully to wordpress when I did this a while back. It is only recently when I went to check my wordpress site did I notice that the images were no longer there.

Yes I git that on the first go round. Please answer my questions.
Is your Xanga site still online?
Yes or no?Of it is still online, what is the URL please?

The xanga site is no longer online. I haven’t been able to access it since xanga shut down its site a couple years ago.

Thanks for responding. Please be patient while waiting for Staff to give you a helping hand.

The problem is the links to your images links are still pointed to Xanga rather than being stored in you Media Library.
Let me check with our developers to see if we can move the images for you so you won’t have to fix them manually.

Your site should be working again. There may be a couple of images you have to fix manually but the vast majority are back.

Thank you so much for all your help! Your speed and knowledge to fix the problem on the blog is so appreciated.
