Missing images including featured images

    Hi there,
    I’m having all sorts of problems with my images and could really use some expert help!

    It was gradual but ever so slowly featured images started disappearing and then images inside posts were coming up broken, even though they appeared in the edit. Also, the featured image box on the right hand side in the admin edit post section does not display the featured image at all, even though it says it’s there (it isn’t) and it doesn’t publish to the site.

    I’ve gone through all the steps of deactivating plugins and reactivating them, I’ve rung the theme designers (pipdig) and they said they can’t help. I’ve rung my host and they had a look at it, but couldn’t fix it. That leaves WordPress!

    The images are uploaded into the media library, not via url. I have also deleted all unused images in a bid to free up space. One image alone is working and I’m stumped as to why!

    I’ve also deactivated the theme and reactivated it. Still no joy.

    Hello Susanna,

    If the link to the image is correct then it could be a problem with your host. I would advise you to contact your web host on this issue.

    For all future support, you need to post your question at https://wordpress.org/support as honestlysilver.com.au is a self hosted WordPress site.

    WordPress.com support forum is only supporting sites hosted by WordPress.com
