Missing insert media buttons

  My only other suggestion from looking through the core dev tickets would be to use the browser uploader. It bypasses the new uploader. You can’t upload multiple images at one time, but it might be a temporary solution for you.

  I eventually got the picture in from the library using my Acer Iconia, which runs Windiws. That is not an acceptable solution, but it worked.

  To edit the page, I stiull need to click Edit and then change from Visual to HTML and back again, so that I can see the words.

  your issues are identical to mine

  running ie8 as well

  running winXPPro and ms is saying i must “upgrade” to win7 to upgrade to ie9
