Missing META widget

    I opened a new site, fought for over an hour just to find where the Dashboard was so I could set a theme. Then discovered the META widget (that manages login/logout and a direct link to the admin dashboard) was missing from the widget list. <ARGHHH!> So I spent an hour re-constructing the links using clues from another (older) site. I understand trying to make things more manageable for those who work from a tablet or smartphone, but can you PLEASE leave a ‘desktop’ mode for those us who still use real computers? And please, please, please put back the META widget!!!

    Hi,

    I assume that you prefer the Dashboard (wp-admin). You can get to this dashboard by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s url (e.g.: example.wordpress.com/wp-admin)

    You can also get there by going to My Sites, scroll to the bottom, and click on WP Admin.
