Missing photos

  I have written a Vietnam blog and successfully added photos to it: saved the updates, gone back and seen the photos. In more than one instance, I have later returned to that same blog and some or all of the photos have not uploaded. I painstakingly reloaded photos; they were apparently added successfully, then did not download at other times: some photos were visible, other ones were simply represented by a blank box when I went back. What is causing this?
