Missing photos on blog
-
Hello all smarter than me!
I have an old blog that I have just revisited and found out that LOTS of photos are missing in blogposts. It seems to be up to date with everything.
But is there something I can do to fi scout what’s gone wrong in the years I have neglected the blog before I delete it all. Because it’s too much work to go through and repost again. Media library seem to be intact even if I couldn’t browse back on all photos ( they wouldn’t load)Any suggestions or is it an lost mission 😅?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Media library seem to be intact even if I couldn’t browse back on all photos ( they wouldn’t load)
Try switching to list view in the media library. In list view, only 60 images display at a time, 60 per page. You can also easily go to the end of the list, i.e. the last page (earliest load images) or the first page (most recently loaded), or choose any page from first to last.
The grid view loads 80, and then you can only keep loading 80 at a time to process toward the earliest images. This is not incredibly time consuming, if you have thousand of images in the library, but might cause your system to slow down, or even stall and fail to continue loading.
I don’t know what might have happened to the images missing from your posts, but I think you’ll find that any image missing from a post is also missing from the media library.

Btw, after responding above, it occurred to me that the number of media images per page that I mention above, 60 (list view) and 80 (grid view), might vary depending upon the display resolution of your system, the size of your screen, and other factors. Those are the images per page in my media library on a desktop pc with Windows 10, and a screen display resolution of 1280 x 1024 (5:4 aspect ratio).

Correction, in my first post above: I meant to say, “This is not only incredibly time consuming…”
