Missing photos on my blogs, please help

I have problem with photos – the older are gone, don’t shows up on my blogs. I didn’t do anything to make them disappeared :-( What to do to restore my photos? All before March 18 are gone :(

Where exactly were those images? Have you deleted any from your Media Library?
Removing images from your Media Library removes them from the posts they were attached to.
Were they hotlinked from some other site? If someone deletes images elsewhere then the links will no longer work. -
All images were in “media”. I’ve never, ever deleted any of my photos, never hotlinked and did nothing to distroy any of them. Just one day puff… and gone. And it happend on my two blogs. How it could happend? Someone break into my account?

Magic Robot, external site? Where? Oh, I know what u mean. All my photos and textes were copied from my old blog, which no longer exists and then (in March) I started new posts. My photos where on my blogs (yes, photos from two blogs are gone) to June or so. If the photos dissapear right after I put them on my blog, I could think that this is my fault, but I had them for at least 2-3 months! Thank you very much for your help, but I have impression that this problem couldn’t be solved. Just tell me how to put photos again…

Hi there,
If you just copied stuff in from another site, that means you never actually uploaded the images to the media library on your new site. The images would still have appeared, because they still linked back to the media library on the old site where they used to be.
Looking at the HTML for your posts with the missing images, that old site was http://dalekireis.blox.pl/, correct?
There no longer appears to be a site at that domain, which means the link for the images in your posts will no longer work, as the image files are no longer at those links. It was working for as long as that old site still existed, but as the old site no longer exists, it will no longer work.
There is nothing we can do about this. Those images were never uploaded to our servers, so we have no access to them. The only way to fix this is to get those original images, upload them to the media library of your new site, and replace them in the different posts where they need to go.

Kokkiech, you could be right and I know that you can do nothing about :-( The only thing is that all the photos from my recent blog were copied to my computer first… Well, thank you so much and I’m sorry you wasted your time, but now I understand… Best regards.
