Missing pics?

Most of my pics are missing on both of my blogs
Blog url: http://jochenlembke.wordpress.com/ -
Your pics seem to be just fine at http://jochenlembke.wordpress.com/
Would you please try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache?

I did, yet the problem remains. It´s not the new entries, where the problem occurs, it´s more in the older ones. Or – when you click at “about me”, there you can see that just the top ones are there, the rest is missing, replaced by that blank figure.
-
The missing images are all inked to from MySpace’s CDN and appear to no longer exist on their servers.
-
Yeah, that´s probably it, I was using MySpyce uploader, for Windows live uploader wasn´t working right, it just threw my pics all over the place. Now I don´t use my MySpace account anymore (I mean, WHO does, right) and they may have cleared it.
The weird thing is, some of them still seem to exist, for when I checked I found some still linked to MySpace.
But whatever, thanks, very much, I will think I will re-upload those pics with wordpress again. -
Erm… just checked in at MySpace – the pics are all there and hosted! So it´s WordPress again holding the baby I´m afraid!
-

Sorry to bother you again about this, I intended to ask myspace support about this, but it doesn´t work, while all their adds and scammers are out in force as usual, funny isn´t it.
Yet, the pics there are all ok and the URL´s still work, I have tried and copypasted a few to check, for example this one below, it was hosted on my wordpress blog before it suddenly disappeared and was removed by that blank and, now, I have copypasted it again on my blog which worked and it is still there.
So, the problem still seem to be with you guys, unfortunately? I´m sorry I don´t know much about this so maybe I just didn´t understand your explanation well enough?

Hi there,
I wouldn’t recommend directly linking the images like this, as there’s really no guarantee they’ll remain available on MySpace’s servers, or at those addresses.
Your best bet would be to save the images to your computer, and then upload them to your media library. You can use the File URLs you’re given to reference the images.
-
Yeah, I can imagine they also take a bit longer to open up as if they would be hosted on wordpress directly?
Anyway, the pics are already on file on my computer, the only problem is we´re not talking about 10 or 20 pics! I´ve got two blogs in two different languages, both of them over three years now, and up to maybe 1000 pics in total!
Not to mention my internet sucks!
The sheer size of work ahead makes me cringe! -
That’s certainly a lot of photos! :-)
Well, keep in mind that we do provide 3GB of space for free, and you can always buy more.
You can upload files in batches at Media -> Add New.
Then, you can attach some of your images to a particular page or post in bulk (you might treat pages as albums):
http://en.support.wordpress.com/media/unattached-files/If you insert a gallery on that page or post, the attached images will automatically appear in it.
-
Well, mentioning that – this leaves me either with the rather time-consuming single upload or the bulk upload via gallery and if I do the latter then I can´t shift the pics and spread them equally over the entire post, like photo and text, photo and text? Or can I?
-
You can upload multiple photos to your post via the Add Media button. To insert each photo individually, just click on Add Media -> Gallery -> Show -> Insert into Post:
-
Right, I´ve got it now.
First I tried that and it didn´t work, but now I know why, once the first pic is inserted into post you just need to go again on add media and on gallery!
All right, thanks for the help, spot on! -
