missing picture next to link when publicizing post in twitter

  Hi, I just started using the publicize through twitter option for my blog posts and, while it immediately sent out a tweet with the link, it didn’t send out any of the photos from the post. I read the guidelines so assumed it would include a small photo of the first photo from the post. Is there anything I can do? Any help is appreciated!
