Missing Pipe
-
https://mypowershellnotes.wordpress.com/2017/03/26/saving-to-the-clipboard/
Search for “If we pipe to clip, then we can save a file path to the clipboard while working inside PowerShell.”
There is a preformatted section following that sentence.
My draft and some browsers will fill in the pipe between “.ToString()” and “clip”. Some browsers omit that pipe.
How can I restore the missing pipe? The command does not work unless displayed properly.

Frankly, I don’t know how to help you. When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then we subscribe to this thread so we are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Actually, it seems that preformatted section only displays correctly when I am logged in. Private sessions and browsers without my WP logon omit the pipe.

Hi Mike,
I’ve been able to replicate this issue when logged out of WordPress.com. I’m going to report it to our developers and I’ll be in touch when I have more information.
Thanks!
