  I’m unable to locate my plugin menu – can you help please?

  Sorry, plugins are not allowed at wordpress.COM for security reasons. Plugins are for self-hosted blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  Since your site will be completely standalone on a third-party hosting service, you can do pretty much anything you want, within the TOS of the web host of course, but they typically have no major restrictions on advertising and such.
