Missing plugins on my Dashboard
-
I’ve mapped successfully my domain from GoDaddy.com to WordPress.com. However, I cannot find my plugins tab on my dashboard. It supposed to be under the Appearance tab, right?
My website : http://www.delight-topia.com
Hope you guys can help.
Thanks.

Hey there –
Unlike a self-hosted WordPress.org site, you will not find a Plugins tab on your dashboard. The Plugins that come with WordPress.com are already bundled and configured for you, so you don’t have to worry about them =).
For more information about Plugins with WordPress.com, please visit our support page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
Thanks!

Hi Darnelldibbles,
Thanks for your prompt response. Does that means I won’t be able to use any plugins while I’m using WordPress.com although I have my own domain and mapped it?
If so, is there any possible way to change from delighttopia.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ to delight-topia.com/wp-admin?
Thanks.

Hey Ramona,

Yes, you will not be able to use any Plugins outside of the ones already bundled and configured within WordPress.com.
Is there any possible way to change from delighttopia.wordpress.com/wp-admin/ to delight-topia.com/wp-admin?
You can use either addresses to reach your domain. They indeed both work.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Darnell
