missing post!

i finished a post, published it, but when i went to my site, it wasn’t there. I checked my dashboard, it’s there. but if i go to my blog, it isn’t there!

Please give us a direct link to your blog, starting with http, and tell us the title of the post that’s gone missing. Also, please let us know if you can see it when you go to Manage (and remember to check Drafts).

and apparently, other computers can see my post! only my laptop can’t. if i click on the category, the post is there. if i click on the archives, the post is there. but everytime i type my url, my post is not there. it’s just in my laptop i guess… any ideas what it could be?

Yes, your laptop is caching the web pages it looks at and showing you old versions. You’ll want to change that setting.

http://chicogarcia.wordpress.com. the post is “noisy neighbors”. most likely you’d see it. ive already gotten comments so i guess people can read it. why can’t my laptop read it? until now it wouldnt register. also, my “view site” is the one with no admin bar. everything else that i click has an admin bar. yes, i see it in manage. its no longer in draft. in manage, the status is “published”.

To clear the cache, go to Settings (or Control Panel) on your computer. There should be a section for Internet, and under that clear cache and cookies.
You should be able to set how often your browser updates a web page view under Options, which on Firefox is under Tools.
