Missing Posts?

I’m seeing posts disappear.
They’re just gone. Anyone else encountering this annoying problem?

Yes, I just posted and it comes and goes, it’s there but not showing on the main page, sometimes not even in the categories…

Please post the following for staff:
– your browser
– your browser version
– your FULL blog address (not the name, the real address that begins http:// )
– your FULL username
– your REAL email address that is registered here
– and a very good description of the exact problem. -

The good news is that you can download an offline blog editor and use it so you don’t continue to lose your posts because you will always have back-up copies of your posts.

I just put another post up to see if it would appear and it vanished.
I’d hate to think WordPress is censoring posts critical of Bush? That would be terribly Soviet.

Wordpress is certainly not censoring your posts. Please find something else to do while staff are fixing this. During that time you can download and use a free off-line blog editor so you do not keep losing posts.cross references

I seem to have the same problem with disappearing pages (AGAIN …)

Worry about you – surely you jest … lol. :D Now you and everyone else posting to this thread know know what to do to preserve your data. You can download and use an offline blog editor and keep on blogging or you can keep losing posts; the choice is yours. -

Volunteers do not have backend access to blogs, only staff do. If your problem has not been rtesolved then please contact staff during support hours (9-5 PM Pacific) http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
