My posts of December 5 and 6 disappear from the screen.
The picture on my post, earlier today, is blown out of proportion. The setting of that picture is ok, but on screen it is not ok.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Will you please provide the URLs starting with http:// of the “disappearing” posts?
I do not see anything wrong with the image in this post http://semperaliquidnoviafricamadferre.wordpress.com/2014/12/08/interview-laila-lalami-2/

The image titled The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival 2, on the 8 December 2014 post lächeln über nichts ist etwas typisch weisses, is displayed at full size, which causes it to extended underneath the sidebar. Have you tried reducing the size at which the image displays?
-
Are the posts dated 5 and 6 December published, or in another status, namely pending or draft?
-
The posts have been published and visible. Now they are no longer visible. I have cropped the picture, but it shows at full size.
I miss the posts when I use my android tablet and when i use my pc.
The posts I have published yesterday and today are in good working order. -
The posts
* Haiku (6)
* Shot in the arm for kiswahili
* Youth poets dazzle at eko poetry slam
* Excerpt from askariare all visible in “my recent views” (widget, on the topright side of my blog), and when you press the link the article is visible as a single article, but not in the long list at my homepage.
I have tried again to reduce the picture, but to no avail.

Yes, I see.
You might want to try replacing that image (“The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival 2”) because it display exactly at the point where the break in posts occurs. It may be stopping those four posts from displaying on the front page.I had an image enlargement issue last year in which the html class name identifier “full-size,” among other was overriding all my image dimension settings. You might want to try removing that identity (class name = “full-size” modified to class name = “”.
If that fails, then I would suggest (as a test) reloading the image, perhaps at a smaller size. If this results in the posts reappearing on the front page, then we’ve detected, though not yet explained, a causative effect.

I have taken out the picture and the results is that the missing articles are now shown on my homepage!!
I have put in another picture and they other posts stay visible !
Thanks for your advice.

Let me clarify that, In the image html code of the type
remove size-full.
Or, if you choose to re-upload the image, just choose a smaller default size at “Attachment Display Settings” of the post editor.

Excellent! You’re welcome.
Ignore my last post. I hadn’t updated and seen your 2:48 post.
